We seek to recruit a Business Engagement, Events & Marketing Executive to work closely with our Project Manager, their job share partner and Board of Directors.

 

The ideal candidate would have a qualification and /or experience in marketing, a good understanding of, and familiarity with, social and traditional media marketing, some graphic design ability and excellent project management skills.

 

Byres Road & Lanes Business Improvement District (BID) was established in May 2015, with the aim of making Byres Road and its surrounding lanes a better and more profitable trading environment for our member businesses.

A key part of our strategy is to host events to promote footfall and raise awareness, and to actively market the area using social and traditional media. Close liaison with our member businesses will be a major element of the role.

​

This post is a job share role, working 18.5 hours a week. Normal office hours, but additional hours may be necessary during events and promotions.

 

4 weeks paid holidays and statutory days, pro rata. Salary commensurate with experience. This position is a short term contract to 31 May 2024, with the possibility of an extension should the BID achieve a third term.

 

The position is based at our office on Byres Road. The closing date is Wednesday 27 November 2024.
