Glasgow Mela - Scotland's biggest free multicultural festival - is back in 2016 with a brand new date! We are moving to 17 July 2016 but keeping our fabulous home in the west end's beautiful Kelvingrove Park.
On Sunday 17 July 2016 Glasgow Mela will be bursting with live music and theatre performances, exotic and mouth-watering foods from around the globe and fun for all ages. Shop for unique gifts and dazzling clothes in the marketplace before chilling out in the summer sun to the sounds of the world.
Scotland's largest 1920s themed cabaret and club night returns with our Midsummer Ball as part of the West End Festival. A decadent evening featuring a star-studded line up of music hall variety, cabaret acts, swing band and gramophone DJ.
Dress Code: Glitz & glamour, black or white tie, waistcoats, flapper dresses, long pearl necklaces.
Doors: 7:30pm (event runs until 2am)
Tickets: £15 (full night) / £5 (aftershow only)

Glasgow Fiddle Workshop presents its annual Open Air ceilidh at the Kelvingrove Art Galleries, one of the highlights of WEF 2016. Kick up yer heels, daunce and birl to an all-star band of GFW tutors, some of the finest musicians in Scotland. With Strip the Willow, Military Two-Step, St Bernard's Waltz, Canadian Barn Dance and many more.
