We are delighted to invite story lovers of all ages to our seventh annual Book Festival, brought to you over the Glasgow September Weekend.
With big names, new voices, workshops, and a dedicated day of Children's authors to keep the kids entertained, there is something for everyone.

Byres Road Book Festival
26 - 29 September 2024
The Byres Road Book Festival started in 2016, and this will be the fifth edition of the event.
We have been delighted to welcome a strong selection of writers including Andrew O’Hagan, Christopher Brookmyre, Ian McMillan, Denise Mina, Graeme Macrae Burnett, Sally Magnusson, Kirsty Logan and Maisie Chang.

Make Music Day is an international annual day of music making.
The free celebration of music takes place in 125 countries on the 21st of June every year.
It creates cultural communities by:
