We seek to recruit a Business Engagement & Marketing Executive to work closely with our Project Manager, our Marketing & Events Executive and the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate would have a qualification and /or experience in marketing, a good understanding of, and familiarity with, social and traditional media marketing, some graphic design ability and excellent project management skills.

 

​The Byres Road & Lanes Business Improvement District (BID) was established in May 2015, with the aim of making Byres Road and its surrounding lanes a better and more profitable trading environment for our member businesses. A key part of our strategy is to engage with our members and host events to promote footfall and raise awareness, and to actively market the area using social and traditional media. Close liaison with our member businesses will be a major element of the role.

This post is a part time role, working 18.5 hours a week.

 

Normal office hours, but additional hours will be necessary during events and promotions.

20 paid holidays and 8 statutory days per annum, pro rata. Salary commensurate with experience.

This position is a fixed term contract to 30 April 2030.

The position is based at our office on Byres Road.
